Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a spacious room with twin mattresses, a huge patio with sun loungers, and a nice dining experience with plenty of options. The location, though beautiful, is a bit remote and challenging to reach. The service was friendly and helpful but lacked professionalism in handling air conditioning complaints.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Scapolatiello! The rooms, though a bit small and old-fashioned, were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The service was exceptional, with a warm and welcoming staff. The location was superb, allowing for a peaceful retreat from the bustling Amalfi Coast, yet close enough to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The dining experience was delightful, offering a variety of tasty local dishes. The hotel facilities were top-notch, enhancing my overall experience.
The hotel surprised me in some ways, with larger rooms than expected and very clean. However, not having breakfast included was a bit of a letdown since that wasn't clear when booking. The room for three was a tad small, overlooking a busy street, and the twin mattresses instead of a double or queen were not the most comfortable.
I have to say, this hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, the rooms, although smaller than expected, do offer exceptional value for money. However, they fall short of the 2-star standard. The service was a hit or miss with the staff being helpful and nice but also preoccupied with a wedding event. The location, while nestled in the hills above Cava de Tirreni, is a bit tricky to access by car. On the brighter side, the dining experience was a delightful surprise, offering a wide variety of tasty local produce.
